Year after year, Hong Kong hosts the most prestigious event among rugby enthusiasts and this year I get to see it. Yep! So many people had asked what was I doing this 11 years for not experiencing such a festive event when Hong Kong is one of the best hosts of it. Well, I am a Rugby Sevens virgin no more.
Starting with the Hong Kong Beach 5’s where my husband had participated in, HSBC and Cathay Pacific, along with many sponsors, had put a lot of effort this year for putting up a grand campaign to promote the most awaited event. Reciprocated by a wild and crazy crowd, the rugby season finished with a bang as Fiji reigned champions. Bula!
For the mean time, here are some of the snapshots that showed camaraderie, support, commitment and most of all, spirit!
