HONG KONG DISNEYLAND GUESTS CAN COME BACK NEXT TIME AFTER BEING SENT HOME BECAUSE OF TYPHOON MERBOK

Hong Kong Disneyland’s intent to bring happiness and unforgettable memories to its guests goes extensive as needing to ask them to leave the premises promptly to keep them safe.

Today, T8 (Typhoon Signal Number 8) was hoisted around 5:20 pm. By law, the people of Hong Kong were advised to stay away from the shoreline, not to engage in water sports and to basically stay safe. In affiliation with the Hong Kong Observatory, academic institutions and companies, seize operations by dismissing classes as early as 3 pm and sending employees home at least 2 hours before the T8 advisory news from the Hong Kong Observatory.

Hong Kong Disneyland needed to close early today. But its guest service attempted a discretionary consideration by giving out leaflets that say:

  • We apologise for any inconvenience you have experienced due to this unexpected situation
  • Please retain your ticket, you can use it to visit us again within 6 months. When you come back, please bring your original ticket to Guest Relations location at Hong Kong Disneyland to exchange for new ticket of the same day type.
  • For exchange enquiry, please visit www.hongkongdisneyland.com or email to our Guest Relations: [email protected]

This information is available in Cantonese and Mandarin.

Typhoon Merbok, the first typhoon of 2017 to pass by Hong Kong, had sent the public out to seek safe roofs on their heads today. As the eye of the storm passes through Hong Kong the entire night, T8 will remain hoisted. Its tail will leave a low pressure area that brings in showers the entire week.

Hongkys, here’s what you’re looking at this entire week starting tomorrow. Just a heads up. Source: www.hko.gov.hk

About

I have a deep regard for your time. It's when I write and cook that time becomes non-existent. I love learning and while you think I am the kind of lady who has a lot of things to say, just take it that I was sharing what I had learned with full impact over a cup of Joe.
