SIP AND SHOP Pop Up

A one-of-a-kind pop-up event where you are invited to sip and shop… who can say ‘no’ to that?

This Saturday, Women of Hong Kong opens the Women’s Lounge to all bargain hunters where 40-80% off original prices are offered on top of free-flow Rosé!

I’ve always been a fan of perky pop-ups. Chanel Wonderland’s campaign, featured in Causeway Bay earlier this year, went amazing. Yet again, if it’s a one-day 40-80% discount collaboration with the following local brands and products, this event can potentially race to the top.

Here are some brands that will give you the best sale ever!

Josephine Chui’s The Crystaling

The Crystaling

Highly recommended by The Women of Hong Kong for creating elegant gorgeous customized jewelry pieces. Whether you’re into pearls, gemstones or silvery, Crystaling offers up to 80% off at the sale and clearance pop-pup market this 3rd of August at the Women’s Lounge! Don’t miss it!

Aisha Gui’s Boho Mix

I had the chance to experience a BOHO Mix candle and the house was instantly a breeze of something light, fresh and warm. Include these in your gifts list, giveaways, or personal collection; you might get amazing praise for choosing these with a unique taste.

Meluha Home’s Manisha Sharma

Dhara Sheth’s Kasido.HK

Kasido, a word derived from the Sanskrit word “KASHIDA”, is known as the oldest form of embroidery. If you are a shopper who aims for pieces that make a statement, you might want to try their products. Kasido.HK assures its customers of a unique piece of bright colours and different raw materials and cultures combined. Kasido HK is amongst the brands that will be at the Sip and Shop Sale and Clearance Pop-Up Market.

PARALLEL 51

According to its founder, Rebecca Ling:

“Parallel 51 is about helping everyday women, making life more practical, efficient, and getting through each day in comfort and style. It’s very much about quality essentials that can be adapted for different occasions. The styles aren’t crazy. It’s good, classic, convenient items.”

Parallel 51

This is one of the coolest brands because of the different features they offer their customers. “Try Before You Buy” or TBYB is the brand’s campaign of allowing clothes ordered online to be tried out first. Doing this rules out online shopping’s dilemma of customer dissatisfaction when it comes to products arriving way different from the online picture. This service is FREE.

Expect more brands. More on the list in the photo from Women of HK below!!!

Women of Hong Kong’s efforts

For the longest time I have been here in Hong Kong, I’ve never felt comfortable exploring as a woman until I joined the Women of Hong Kong. In learning new things, going to pop-ups and simply attending social events, there’s always lingering stress about whether to go or not in the first place because it is all about coming out of your comfort zone. But somehow, with WOHK, I feel safe and seen.

Being in this community encourages me to get out of my shell to rediscover myself. Moreover, it supports my endeavours too and it caters to simple delights that I consider for myself such as events for book reading, workshops and simply socializing. As a parent, sometimes, you feel guilty giving time to this but in WOHK, they acknowledge women from all walks of life. Event schedules are arranged efficiently and there’s always the leniency in being with equally powerful women.

I’m saying that I love how they put up events like this where women get to be accepted for every unique strand they have. We love great pieces, but as women, we all share this satisfaction when we get a good bargain for something. We all love things on SALE. And while we should be responsible consumers, here’s WOHK catering to that in both ways.

It provides the space for both parties. For the consumers, they make sure that they are given affordable options, a chance to meet up and a freestyle community. To the sellers, they offer businesses means to cope, surface and thrive efficiently. So, kudos to its founder, Sarah Vee and the team! More power to you!

Again, see you on August 3 at the Women’s Lounge! Sign up for free for the Sip and Shop Pop-Up Market event of Women of Hong Kong. Signing up is free and it comes with amazing member discounts. Check out the other events and some platforms where you may find great resources and collaborations!

About

I have a deep regard for your time. It's when I write and cook that time becomes non-existent. I love learning and while you think I am the kind of lady who has a lot of things to say, just take it that I was sharing what I had learned with full impact over a cup of Joe.
