Do you crave for a place or an event in Hong Kong that doesn’t involve street parties? Do you find yourself hard to talk at a bar because of bands that are too loud at the background? Cab Sessions Hong Kong invites you and your friends to a night of your songs from different genres, favourite musicals, and soundtracks.
Any craft seeks expression for it allows thoughts and emotions navigate with intent. The most important of it all is self-expression. Studies show that it is an important tool to relive yourself from depression and anxiety due to unnecessary stress. Expression of one’s thoughts, feelings and emotions benefits the soul. It comes in many forms. But the most beautiful of all, the one that could give energy and pacify somebody at the same time, is music.
As I featured so many people who were successful in their own right, I am proud to present to you this up close and personal episode with the co-founders of Cab Sessions Hong Kong. With an aim to represent themselves as the people who go about their own jobs and roles during the day but has that burning passion for performing arts, they created the show, “We Are Here”. This is to encourage musical enthusiasts, cabaret spectators and lovers of music and story telling to come down and give in to their passion.
With this second episode of my #featureofthemonth here in I Value My Life, I hope you feel the passion these people have for what they do as much as I have felt it at the very moment. Enjoy and don’t forget, October 23, at Social Room, Central, HK$250/ticket at the door.
