Little information about the Titanic Musical:
Titanic the Musical is a Tony-award winning production that was based on a book by Peter Stone. Music and lyrics, created by Maury Yeston gave life to the tragic story of the Ship of Dreams that sank on April 15, 1912 onstage. It made its way in Broadway in 1997. Not long after, it earned Tony Awards for Best Score, Best Musical and Best Book. From then on, it holds a great prestige to be a part of this. Amazingly, it had become a success even if it was perceived as a peculiar idea in the beginning.
As the ship striking the iceberg separates Act 1 from 2, I can’t help but get curious on how it all builds up all the way to Act 2. To begin with, Titanic the Musical is a mix of excitement, love story, and most of all, history. With how the ship was built on impressive notions, in the end, it was challenged by nature’s incomparable strength. It would be a treat to see these elements on-stage with a flow of music.
